Camp
Copneconic is extremely attentive to the selection of its staff,
recognizing that the safety and enjoyment of every camper depends on the
quality of the people leading them. Our college-age leaders are kids at
heart who have been carefully selected and trained for the important
role they play in your child's life.
Staff
take time to lead programs, teach new skills, help build strong
character and make Camp Copneconic home. With training in camper health
and well-being, program planning, and the YMCA core values, your child's
counselors are committed to delivering a fun and safe week filled with
memories to last a lifetime.
An
international experience for your child is no farther away than Camp
Copneconic! Each summer, Camp Copneconic hosts counselors from other
countries. This is a wonderful opportunity for campers to learn about
people and cultures from around the world, while staying close to home.
The
administrative staff at Camp Copneconic combine a wealth of experience,
which provides your camper with a program based on the tried and true
practices of the camping industry.
