 The
Hero's Retreat helps students recognize everyday heroes. The retreat
improves self-confidence in students with the goal of creating a
positive environment back at school.
In
developing respect for the importance of others and understanding the
nature of heroic responsibility, students will be ready to handle
anything thrown their way. A school full of heroes is one that is able
to concentrate on academic learning and community building.
This is a three-day program targeted towards 5th grade and 8th grade. A
combination of indoor and outdoor activities involving team-building,
self-development, and creative learning are at the heart of this brand
new program.
