School Programs

Our School Program Curriculum offers unique educational experiences for students ranging from 1st to 12th grade. Our overall philosophy is to provide outdoor and character based programs that supplement what schools are teaching in the classroom. Below is a summary of our unique program offerings.

Project E.A.R.T.H.
Project E.A.R.T.H.
is designed for schools serving grades 4 through 8, and who prefer a broad based outdoor education experience that enhances environmental, social and academic goals. One to five day programs are offered.

An acronym, which stands for Environmental Discovery; Adventure & Cooperative Learning; Recreational Fun; Touching Nature; and Historical and Cultural Lessons.  Project EARTH provides a diverse curriculum that is entirely customizable to school goals.

Michigan benchmarks are reinforced through experiential learning, a love of nature is instilled in children, and a better Earth is supported by students developing a greater respect for the environment and all who share it.

Heroes Retreat
The Heroes Retreat is a one to three day character development workshop for schools serving grades 4 through 12. The program is designed to uncover heroic behavior, strengthen the character of each student, improve interpersonal relationships, and establish a school culture based on care, compassion, and cooperation.

On an individual level, students embark on a real journey of personal discovery that involves improving self-confidence, gaining an understanding of individual responsibility, and developing everyday heroic behaviors through courage and character.

Throughout the journey students learn on a group level how a school full of heroes – willing to cooperate and work together as a team – can bring unified strength and overall happiness to an entire student body.

Faith Adventures
Faith Adventures
is a customized one to two-day program offered to religious-based schools serving grades 4 through 12, and who are looking for a unique combination of team development and faith building.

This program serves all faith expressions and Copneconic instructors work side-by-side with school teachers and/or religious leaders in bringing forth the core values of their education.

Through the use of experiential and adventure based activities, the P.U.L.S.E. model is utilized and adapted to the schools religious beliefs, helping students develop a more supportive faith community.

Science & Adventure Day
Our Science & Adventure Day program for schools serving grades 1 through 3.  Students embark on a day’s journey of ‘Indiana Jones’ proportions – experiencing a fun combination of getting ‘up close and personal’ to a variety of animals, reptiles and amphibians, while retrieving a lost ancient treasure through cooperative games and initiatives.

Designed within an imaginative treasure hunting context, students experience a rotation of classes that bolster a love and knowledge for science and strengthen classroom cooperation.
